Peter Wilkinson...Caledonia Art App 49-52 by peter Wilkinson (Member 10223589) on 4-Jul-2009
I was seriously in love with a local girl in 1951 as an apprentice at Caledonia. When I left and was on the way to Korea I broke off the relationship. A family close to my own family had a daughter, we were brought up together and she was my childhood girlfriend, (off and on over the years - as these things happen when you are young). She contracted TB and both families had the expectation I would... more >>

Jim Crawford by bluebrazil (Member 10235349) on 12-Feb-2009
I'm looking for anyone who remembers a Jim Crawford. He was born in the town in 1948. His parents, James and Annie, stayed at 30 King's Road, Rosyth at the time. His father was an engineer. I don't know what schools Jim went to, but perhaps King's Road and Dunfermline High? He went on to a career as a racing driver and I am currently researching his life. Kevin.

  • Re: Jim Crawford by bluebrazil (Member 10235349) on 12-Feb-2009
Forgot to add, tomorrow (February 13th) would have been Jim's 61st birthday. Unfortunately he died in 2002.
