  Stumbled across this again after a few months... apologies for the fairly rude reply before, bad day at the office (literally). Anyhoo, is Carlos a nickname, as i would've remembered that name? Still got a season tix at Paradise, but not going this season due to work.. Paul (brother) still ever present though, as you'd expect... and still smirkin' after Sunday at Greyskull.
  You mentioned Timmsy.
  How's he? Not heard a peep from that boy in years.His faither(Ally) was playin' Fives with us for a time last summer. If you see him pass on my best.
  Elsewhere, still livin' in the toon, doing the usual things , in the usual places... still play fives with some of the auld faces, though mainly drink with Rab J and Hammy and the occassional COWDEN bod, when they make it past the Cuddy Road... Let us know who ye are min, and again, sorry aboot being a tad nippy initailly.

  When I was in the United States Navy, 1952/53 my ship visited Rosythe Naval Base. A fellow sailor and I visited Dunfermline and I met a girl by the name of Jean Wilson. I believe she lived with her father who had been in the British Navy in WW-2. Someone mentioned a little park in the town. We were allowed to attend a party of the Home Guard and had a great time. We overstayed our visit and a poli
  ceman had to wake up the owner of a livery and we four rode back to the naval base in a hearse. Anyone know of Jean Wilson? She might be in her late 60's by now. Thank you.

  Hello Heather. From your enquiries you must have been in the same class as I was. I went to Blacklaw school from 1952 to 1958 before I went to Australia. I recognise some of the names you gave. I have a class photo of 1954 before you came but it should have faces you could recognise.

  It was good to hear from you. I find it hard to remember the names of people at the school as I left so long ago. The photo I have is as a 7 year old in 1954.   As I said earlier in the year my dad was one of the first intakes @Blacklaw as well and he stayed in the Crescent @the same no. as you were on
  ''the top road''as for other names which went to school with him there was Ricky Lark, Rab King etc. Harry has a memory like a sieve and canni remember whit happened last year niver mind 1950,s so I have to do all my own findings . Hope this helps.

  I can`t remember her sister but she was Jamaican and very dark. I used to dance with her all the time at school and enjoyed her company. I have some photos taken in the fifties at Woodmill rd and a 1954 class photo from Blacklaw school. Is there somewhere to send the photos. I may visit next year so I will post news when we will be there.

  I was looking over my photos and it is hard to remember names. I have some with Bill Brown and George Robinson and there younger brothers taklen at Gala day 1957. I have a school photo of 1954 at Blacklaw School. I remember faces but few names. Jack Sedgewick,Carol Arneil are two I remember. Nancy Wellington is not in the photo but maybe she arrived later.   Tried the new email address but it did not work. I remember one of my friends at school had a brother who boxed at the Olympics in 1956. They lived near the entrance to the school. He had worked with my father at Valleyfield. I always remember the school concerts we went to at Carnegie hall as kids.

  Been at the Trondheim subject thingy and read your message, you must have been living there from early days to conjure up some of these names ! christ my memory must be failing. I can remember them all now though, Donald Banning, Cameron smith. The Fowlis household had two brothers, as did the selleys and the ramsays (as you obviously know).   Hi Katz, had a wee break in sunny spain, yeh i`ve heard the old area`s livening up again, some kids tried to hang someone in the park behind inchkeith. M had a bit of bother there as well from some local druggies and got a "sair wan" outside Mackies. yip, its good to be away from it but i wouldnt have swopped that up bringing, it sure helps you to be street wise.   Must be getting old but i can't even remember my Reggie Teachers name either getting on a bit or i never made it regestration class,lol all i remember was he was a science (Biology) teacher with dark hair n glasses.

  son was Guidance Teacher, Mr Adams was Art Teacher
  (I had a crush on him) not sure i should be admitting that, lol. Miss Gilmour for English, Mr Stewart (wee Bochall) Science, Mrs Stweart Music (yep his wife)Dr Frazer Maths, Moore , Watson & Blair P.E Teachers so was Mr Galbraith (was he no about 8 foot tall?)
