- shorty sports bar in hitchin every sunday.
- the glider is good place to here local bands play. they're mostly utter shit, but they did have one good band there once. a 10 piece jazz band who.. no wait they were shit, i was just on extasy... so no.
hang on, jj's sometimes has some big ish acts lined up to go there. but they usually pull out. i.e peter andre, coolio (all pulled out.)

- `bout 9/10 miles away is the infamous milton keynes bowl an` there are also a few local bands play at queensbury school every now and then.
- if you crave your fill of live rock music the only place to go is The Wheatsheaf in high street north,dunsteble.there you will find bands playing every saterday night.(& some fridays) both cover & indie bands perform,kicking off at 9.00pm.most fridays various rock djs hammer the metal.the beer is ok too!

- Been knocked down ...but Asda that was built in its place does have some very nice music piped over its tannoy
- Lots of small dtinking community huts where you can be entertained by some bearded weirdo called Alan or something, singing Christian folk songs with his clapped out accoustic guitar.
- A nice community 'hut' near the Priory,great for checking out bearded, cardigan-wearing evangelical Christians called Alan strumming accoustic guitars and trying to stave off tears of self-loathing.
