- Your local Avon representative, Claire, is on hand to supply you with everything from talc to waterproof radios. Their Bronze suncream is particularly good, especially the after-sun with insect repellent. Has been tested in Mallorca for two years running, and our panel gave a resounding 8.7 out of 10.
- Sadly Dunton Bassett (or commonly known as 'Dunton' to the local people) doesn't have an art gallary or hall of exibition. Luckily the sad collective of 'youths' that hang around in the bus shelter on Main Street are more than happy to oblige with spray cans and leftover pots of Magnolia Dulux, in their own unigue style. Unfortunatly none of them can write their own name let alone scribble obsenities.
- Pillar of the community and crusader for moral rights, and all round camp legend Jon Archer regularly hosts a variety of seminars and lectures at his lovely rural dwellings. Jon has an affinity for crocheting hats, avant garde films, the finer points of pub quizzing and generally being a very old man in the body of an 18 year old. Jon ... we salute you!
- Richard Moon makes his own, strangely phallic, "modern art" sculptures. Ask anyone about
for details as Moon is rather famous after that sheep incident.
- They put a flower show on in the church for the Harvest Festival every year!!
