• I AM JUST WRITING THIS TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH CHASERS HAS CHANGED ON A FRIDAY NIGHT.WENT TERE ON BOXING DAY THERE WAS AN OLDSKOOL NIGHT.PUT IT THIS WAY BEEN THERE EVERY FRIDAY SINCE.THERE WAS NO TROUBLE BELIEVE IT OR NOT LOL.THE MUSIC WAS F****IN AMAZING.THE DJS WERE FRIENDLY AND PLAYED SOME AMAZING TUNES FROM BACK IN THE DAY.THE BEER WAS CHEAP HAD SOME MINT OFFERS ON AND IT WAS FULL OF FANNY LOL.AMAZING
• at the moment LGM is the place to be, its different and the no idiot door policy make its a place you can relax. The griffin still puts on some good nights but the only place open late you can have a good night is LGM.
• chasers for a shit night with shit music and a guaranteed punch up outside after!!!
• The Viaduct Club, for karaoke every sunday night (it's a mad house nite) northern soul night (packed,with visiters from around the country) on the last Friday of each month, and hopefully a new indie night will be starting in the near future, so come along and have a brill night of singing and dancing, and get yourself on video.>>> (see music venues, on this board)

• Everyone moans about Xenon ( affectionately known as Chassoirs Internationale) but we all keep coming back .Easy to tap off and much cosier atmosphere than going to town.Get to know everyone really quickly instead of bigger places in town where you dont know a soul and pay through the nose!

• The comments about Xenon,aka Chasers are well outdated, yes it was a dump about ten years ago but has been totally refurbished at least twice that I can remember since then and kilkennys has been gone for about six years now and a new bar (Rosie's) has been there for twelve months.As a 31 year old, 5ft9, size 10 blonde, I have a better night out in Xenon than any time I go out of town, its not full of teenie boppers like most other places, the beer is very cheap and good for a club and the atmosphere is great. Music is sound, place is cleanest club I have seen in ages and Wayne the owner and resident DJ is pretty well worth a look at as well!

• I dont know whats the matter with people. This town justb has to be the easiest place to pull in Britain. Any and all of the pubs and clubs are swamped with no-necks in yesterdays gear,all machoing at the bar while their women sit in the corner largely ignored. A little bit of politenss and attention and Quasimodo with a burst hump could pull.
• Xenon/Chasers (still known as Le Chaseurs Internatioale to locals) is the best nightclub in town. Its the ONLY one. Don't go there. Don't go anywhere in Earlestown. If you live there move house.
• GO TO WARRINGTON Better still, give Warrington a miss aswell. Liverpool and Manchester are both only 20-30 mins on the train. Get a taxi home for about £30 (hardly anything split 4 ways. Xenon (still fondly referred to as Le Chaseurs Internetionale by its regulars) is alright for a laugh every now an then.
• There was a rumour that the Coral snooker hall was going to be turned into a top nightclub as it had been bought by someone who used to work for Cream in Liverpool. This never happened. It was a lie.
• Chasers, now called, Xenon is shite
• Xenon - I don't know any swimming pools but I know all the dives and this is certainly one of them. Xenon is great night out if your into tunes like Teletubbies and Aqua. The bar consists of the crappest beer on the market and if your looking for totty then my advice is to stay at home you'll find better totty in Coronation Street!!! If you do go to Xenon then you'll have to deal with the locals, namely muppets and psycho wannabes!!!
