  • polly,local guitarist/musician.the oddfellows no longer here now its a old folks home called wood court,was also known as "the barrell" who used to have a travelling band all dressed up for charity,playing odd-looking instruments with kazoos as mouthpieces in.they were known as the barrell band and appeared on t.v. twice they were led by a gentleman named tommy wooods.

  • mention family tree and the first person that comes to mind is Tall Andy. I am sure everyone in Earlestown knows who he is he is as well known. very boring when he starts on about family trees and half the time hes not got a clue what he s on about.by the way he has big feet and spends alot of time at the graveyard on park road, doing research he says for his family tree.

  • One or two well known drunks can be found entertaining people on the streets with their strange antics at all times of the day. I won't name them though. Down and out's have feelings too.
  • Dave The Rave is quite entertaining.
  • What about Paul, The Lord Mayor of Earlestown, with his wild curly hair, bottle bottom glasses, stripy jumper, half mast pants and his brownie box camera. His favourite quote "I've got a photographic studio - do you want to be a model?"
