- Bombay Tandoori - has fed us regularly on a friday night for 18 years - despite ups and downs remains reliable, familiar and good value. Let's hope they get more space soon.

- try the Gemini on Sandy Lane, not a Hungry Horse anymore, they actually cook the food rather than microwave it
- Star OK kebab, USA chicken, Thai restaurant, Kings Burger Bar, Chinese, Indian, just looks around Dereham - loads of takeaways.

- theres plenty of choice in dereham but we definatly need a macy des and kfc
- a few friends have had gut aches after visiting the millies in toftwood,
- kebabs,kebabs and kebabs we need a mcdonalds or something which tates nice and english people work in!

- The Hong Kpng Chinese Take Away for the best sweet and sour anywhere around! Otherwise the best food is in the village pubs - Brisley Bell, Brisley; Darbys, Swanton Morley; The Windmill, Yaxham; Kings Head, North Elmham.
- Dereham is infested with Indian resturants nothing else available, for a good chinease take away try the China Dynasty down Stone Road, try the seaweed.

- The Indian restaurants in Dereham are fine. Edible food at reasonable prices. Forget it if you want to sample any other reasonable quisine. Oh, forgot to mention the fish & chip shop in the market square. It's not bad, but I prefer the little fish & chip shop in Shipdham, a village about five miles south of Dereham.
- Somerfields mmmmm Pot Noodles, uuuuuuughhhhhh!
- Its got a couple of curry houses I suggest going to Swanton Morely and eating in the darbys though
- I've been to all the curry houses in Dereham and the Bombay Tandoori is by far the best! (Norwich Street)
- Chick-King.
- Dereham has four curry houses despite one being closed currently due to water problems!!! The population of Dereham being around 12500 (this must be more curry houses than Bradford per head). On Sundays you can have half price curries.
- Dereham has the best curry house in the world, it is called the Megna, try it some time.
