- If what I have read here about East Tilbury now is true, then I suggest there is no one to blame but yourselves.
In the 1950's and 60's it was a vibrant place with a great cinema, swimming pool, tennis courts, sports field, good pubs a great hotel along with a host of other things to keep young and old occupied. There were fabulous dances, astonishing Christmas and Easter parties, wonderful summer sports days and all the buildings, houses and gardens were maintained in pristine condition.
What on earth have you all been up to if things are now so bad. Or can I guess.
