• Very good quality food...Little China opposite Cosmos in Seaside road All you can eat lunch time thai food for £4.95, all you can eat evening for £8.95..be warned though, simple fixtures and fittings, Thai food slightly different from Chinese but compared to Cosmos brilliant   
• There are some good fish and chip shops, the Dolphin in Seaside for instance. The Maple in Seaside Road does five dishes for ten pounds and the standard is excellent.   
• mcdonalds, wimpy   
• Isobels near the Arndale Centre is cheap, & it's OK if you're not looking for style & you don't care who might see you going in! The Hollywell Tea Chalet is good too, at the very Western end of the seafront - nice big sarnies & reasonable prices.   
• Cosmo, a resturant near the pier, does real good buffet style food, but its all like thai and foreign stuff! Its all delicious and is worth the trip out.   
• mr haus oriental express / seafront tandoori / clay oven / noodle bar at the enterprise centre / and seeracha have all had £1000s out of me for their great munchies! check them all out!!!   
• There's loads of places at the harbour, and loads of new restaurant on seaside road (at the end closest to town) that look alright.
