FISH NEED A NEW HOME ( POND) by Angela Burnham (Member 10264150) on 10-Aug-2011
I have a garden pond in Upperton area, and its overstocked - I need to give away approx 12 fish - various coloured gold fish and sizes - the collector will have to help in fishing them out - ie draining some of the water out, to catch - Also bring containers etc - Fish are healthy and need to go to a good sized, well maintained pond - for free

I run the Register of Artists' Models (RAM) and am looking for an artist to run a one-off life drawing session for me in Friston, near Eastbourne. The session lasts an hour from 1 - 2pm and is on Saturday, June 5. The venue, model and materials are all sorted - we just need someone to run it!

10 year old Emma has had surgery for Scoliosis and is now campaigning to raise awareness of the condition and for all children in the UK to have the very simple 'bend forward' test to get an early diagnosis of Scoliosis.     Yes the house prices down here are completely ridiculous. I actually live in a village about forty miles from Eastbourne but it's no different. Surely the answer is to get some jobs up north so people will want to stay there where there are houses and infrastructure already in place. Why do the Govt bribe companies to locate in the SE when they could be bribing them to locate in the North. It makes no sense at all.

anyone have any info on a mother and baby home located in salhurst road eastbourne 1950, need help with search for birth of my brother who was then adopted, did the babies get born there or alocal hospital, are there any records anywhere of the records from this time.

    My mum had a baby girl there in Sept 1952. Any info would be appreciated..
