- Don't bother going to Lennon and Sons - it's a rip off. Go to Bromborough Pets in bromborough for the fishing tackle and the new discount shop in bromborough is fab too for a bargain. Lennons is the old whartons and its not the same without that nice young lady there......
- I wouldn't bother shopping in Wharton's any more as the prices have gone sky high since that lovely young girl left. Why?

- Wharton's Discount shop on the A41 has lots of burning oils/Pot pourri in at the moment, they also have cards, sweets, drinks, pet food, gift ideas, etc, etc. I must go on about this place as there aren't any other cheapy type shops in Eastham!
- The paper shop in the village has everything you could want.
- Well it's not strictly a 'comic' shop it is a Chandlers called 'Whartons', it sells everything from loo rolls to cans of pop (4 for £1!!). It's well worth a look in.
