Skateboarding Spots
- well heres my second spot review.
first place would be just outside the train station.theres a nice little ledge there and a few curbs to muck about on.
moving on if you cross over the road and take a left, follow this path down until you find 2 8 sets like straight infront of you.
after that its probably the bandstand which is situated:
as you come out of the train station you want to cross over and head straight forward, if you see a taxi rank and a bus station thigy on the right then your going the right way.
keep going to the end and there should be a massive field.
in the middle will be a bandstand with a 7 stair and a handrail either side.
next is flemming park.
ok my knowledge isent that good on this one but i should be able to get it.
after you come out of the train station cross over the road and turn left.
head down that way for ages and i mean ages and you should go past a texaco, down the road from there, there will be a sign pointing to eastleigh college
follow that road down (which sould be a righ turn) and keep going down tht road for ages until you hit the main road again
then turn right and you will be at a big field.
head right and you will see the skatepark, or carry on going for flemming park leasure centre where there is a nice 2 stair, a gap, sharp bank and a 6 round the back.
- lawn road park is good, nice flat land, a waxed curb, a waxed bench, and little mounds of grass and drains to trick over. flemming park skate park is good... well the minni is, the street bit is lame. go ontop of the big multistory carpark, but bring some wax
- fleming park for skateboard park
- The park we saw SUCKS. a launch/landing ramp 1ft long and set at an angle of around 70 degrees with a 1ft gap in between....SUCKS. the foot high 'driveway' with the manky curb height rail along it SUCKS. The mini would be nice except there is a huge hole in part of it and some clever person nailer a 2 inch thinck peiece of wood over the top, clever! now that has a hole in too....There's a twenty set in town that may be doable into an underpass, theyre bug though. Topof the multistorey is a double set of 6 that you could hack it at and do both as they're real steep...we didnt bother though ass my friend wanted a hat.....
- Fleming Park.
