  i am the son of ron burt.we used to live in eastleigh(bishopstoke)stoke park road.heinz is the brother of my dad which makes heinz my uncle.i have seen him play loads of times.i was told my nan was dead.[which is not ture] i have seen family in eastleigh drinking.[sid burt].i was told the family did not get on with each other. [i don't know].i would like to see family so would my two sons adam (2)
  and joshua(6)also my wife. i saw heinz in a pub in eastleigh in 1986 and we talked alot about me meeting family but nothing come of it.the thing i would like most is to meet family and have some pictures and most of ALL see my nan.thanks richard burt.

  hi, i was surprised to see that heinz was still living, he actually died of motor neorone disease sadle, and there is a road named after him in eastleigh, my family are Burts by marriage, richard and melvin now living in australia and mark living in hampshire, i have no idea if we are related but would love to know if there is a link...thanks

  There has been a lot of family talk via the various messages here. Despite the ifs and buts as to whether he did or didn't do whatever, his music still lives in some of us. I was only 13 when Just like Eddie hit the airwaves in Australia (and younger when the Tornado recorded Telstar). Last week a friend of mine complained of a rapid racing heart. It quickly reminded me of a very distant song call
  ed 'The beating of my heart' recorded by none other than Heinz. Unfortunately, his music was to be swamped by the Beatles, Rolling Stones and others. For those who recall the brief injection of Heinz into our lives, his story will continue to be told.

  As Heinz was the only son of German parents and the stepson of Jack Burt, there are no direct English blood relatives apart from my son who was born when I was married to Heinz, so please stop all of this rubbish!

  Hi Richard Burt, i think you have your wires crossed somewhere as Heinz (my father) has one brother and one sister and i know them both as they are my auntie and uncle and i also know my cousins of which you are not one! so i dont know how my dad can be your uncle? I am sure my Gran would be interested to know too! I am Heinz's only son so i hope this sets the record straight for you.
