- Monton, probably the only nice looking part of eccles.
Eccles cakes - yummy, but now made in Gorton.
- There are....i'm sorry to say, not many positive things about Eccles at the moment (Jan 2005), it is being re-genrated to a certain extent, but the same underlying problems are still there.
- Eccles is finally getting a bit of a revamp along Liverpool Road, still looks pretty shabby though. Plenty of yuppie flats being built.
