- The World Famous in Eccles "WHITE HORSE PUB" is owned by that blonde one from Corrie. Albert Finney lived down Weaste and Graham Nash lived in Ladywell flats. Aidan Smith is World amous in Eccles too.
- That guy who got stabbed of robert carlisle in Cracker (on TV about 93/94), you know, the one with the big nose and a strong local accent.
