- All sorts of take-aways and the chippy at Hope shops near Costi's has just re-opened and it's now called Captain Cod - yes I!!!

- There Are many kebab shops and a few curry houses along liverpool road. Some are very nice, some are absolutely disgusting but i'll let you find that out for yourselves HAHAAHAHA!

- ECCLES CAKES WERE INVENTED HERE. That is enough of history. We have had enough kebab shops come and go but Happy Days is here for ever halleluya!!!!

- Delphinos at the top of Church Street, and if you want a decent curry try above the opticians in the town centre or the Balti Brassierie on Liverpool Road. The Chinese take-away close to the Balti Brassierie is without doubt the best in town.
