• WHSmith's is absolute rubbish they dont stock anything and everytime I try to order something they mess it up and I never get it. Dunno any good ones now, just buy online.

• I thought the Forbidden planet in dublin was poor but i'm afraid you Edinburgh-ites make it look like the best thing since sliced bread.
• forbidden planet on south bridge and there is one on candlemaker row although i'm not sure what it is called

• Deadhead comics is more "hardcore", but Forbidden Planet on S Clerk Street has got oodles of cool comics and toys. They've got all the new star wars toys now.
• Forbidden Planet, South Bridge. Sells South park, Simpsons, Star Trek and Science Fiction Comics , videos ,teeshirts and merchandise
• Deadhead Comics (Candlemaker Row) - slightly more expensive than Forbidden Planet, but wider range of non-mainstream (i.e. non-Marvel) titles. Especially good for Image titles.
• Forbidden Planet (Bristo Square) - good range of comics, excellent SF/fantasy novel selection downstairs, some videos too. Cheap (stlg8.99) TNG videos at the moment. Range of models and other collectables.
