  • For free condoms whenever you need them, scamper along to Crew in Cockburn Street...you're given a card with a number which then entitles to free contraception every time you go there. Be careful though, as opening hours are a bit funky
  • If youre coming to Edinburgh u'll have a fantastic time, its best at Christmas (go see the Chrtistmas tree in Jenners-wow) and the outdoor ice rink in The Gardens. Also go to the Botanic gardnes in Inverleith, the squirrels are immense. And definitley cum to Portobello, a 26 takes u here direct from town. The Beach is lovely, and try Kitcheners Deli the staff r sexy.
  • edinburgh zoo and gorgie city farm are cool
  • Only talk to students, everyone else is fucked up.
  • we need a skate park in edinburgh can anyone help us....northedinburghwheels@hotmail.com
  • The people can get really poncy and up their own arses, so watch it!
  • If you need the toilet in the Waverley Station, don't pay to use the toilets that they provide, it's too expensive. Instead go to the pub toilet - it's totally free. I've been doing that for years.
  • ooooooooookkkkkkaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy. the most oustanding new establishment in edinburgh is that cafe-cum-bar place called "favourit", and baby, is it MY favourit! there are 2 branches - tolcross/ near-iguana-type-one. it looks like a fifties diner. no loud music, so you can actually HEAR the pretentious drunken conversation you're having. it's table service ALL night, till 3am. so the remarkably understanding staff deliver to your table quality drink, french toast with bacon and maple syrup, and EVEN FAGS at the click of a finger. just make sure you don't make the inebriated mistake of saying "it's on me!" and signing your name on the bill at the end of the night, like i did not so long ago.....
  • Fancy a tour of the old town in Edinburgh? The caddies and witchery tour is one of the oldest and more origional tours of Edinburgh's history. It's a pretty rad tour with ghosts jumpng out and a tour guide. All the stories are supposedly real and it's not too expensive. By appointment only (0131 225 6745)
  • Tusitala 5-piece playing uptempo traditional and original dance music from around the globe. Regular appearances at Whistlebinkies, Edinburgh's late licence music pub.
  • Record labels Musicians Artists
  • To avoid the crush, don't visit in August. April and September are better and the weather is not any worse.
