- chattanooga is a good shop for cheap food
- Fuck all worth mentioning.
- chataqnooga BRILL wen u r pissed
- Hungers End
- theres nowhere in the country better than the mandarin chinese take-away!
- This is where Egremont comes up trumps if you like unhygienically prepared food with unspecified content. The Mandarin and the Wonder Kitchen should be avoided at all costs as they are especially bad at being clobbered by health and safety. NEVER buy the Wonder Kitchen gravy. If you want chips go to the Cottage, down the alley from Booze Busters.
Chattanooga pizzas are a better bet, and the 12" Big Kahuna is recommended. Balti Haven is OK, but they kept us waiting for two and a half hours one time. Try Birketts for nice sandwiches, or Pat a Cake for nice pies.
- WONDER KITHEN DO A GOOD SPECIAL, SAUSAGE CHIPS AND GRAVY AN A DRINK, £1.10p FORK 5p
- The balti Haven- Very expensive if four people are dining it's probably cheaper to get a taxi into Whitehaven and go to the Ali Taj
- Very limited, but Birketts do lovely cheese and onion pasties
- Balti Haven quite good indian restaurant/takeaway. Chattanooga kebabs and Pizzas (recommended) The Manderin/Chinese takeaway (quite good). The Wonder kitchen Chinese takeaway(not recommended)
- Chattanoga, Balti Heaven, The Wonder Kitchen, The Mandarin, Caggo`s pies at the rugby club, Benn`s Chippie.
- Birkett's bakery (Main street, near War memorial) do an *excellent* fresh cream coffee puff...
- Hartley's ice cream - van generally parked outside Wyndham school
- Chinese take aways: The Wonder Kitchen or The Mandarin. Your best bet is to ask a local which has most recently been done by health inspectors... and use the other.
