- The only problem with getting your clothes at Janwear, was that everybody else would get the same stuff. That called for a trip to Carlisle on the train followed by the journey straight to McDonalds (this was when we only had one McDonalds in the whole county, EVEN before Workington's one)
- Unique Sports: run by the loverly Billy Rudd there are some superb bargins!!!!!
- Billy Rudd's Sport Shop, called "Unique Sports" at 10 Main Street. Get all your local Rugby Team gear here and your fave football Team Tops!!
- For the best in designer wear try Age Concern, I bought a pair of Next jeans for 50p and a suit for 50p (neither fit me but I couldn't resist the bargain.)
- Theres only JANWEAR and thats crap.
