- There is one celebirtys mum in ellon! Annie Lenox's mum lives in ellon i dont no if she still does live here but i think she does also tht woman who is death that is good at playing musical instruments or is she blind..i canna member! but her mum lives here to i think.
- Yes Gaby from Neighbours (and several B-movies) did attend Ellon Primary. She went out with my old teacher's son. We covered it in the school newspaper several years later.
- Update on Ally Begg - he was a resident of Newburgh from memory. What is he doing now?
- Was Gabby from Neighbours not at Ellon Primary for a wee while?
- Update to previous entry on Annie Lennox. Unfortunately Annie is not and never has been a resident of Ellon, her parents live here but she was brought up in Mastrick in Aberdeen, apart from visits to her parents (during one of which I was lucky enough to go for a drink with her, during her Tourist's phase) she has never actually lived here.

- The birthplace of curling(Big claim to fame) Fergus Mccann (Owned Celtic)
- Annie Lennox also came from Ellon, my family and I have the great fortune to meet her both back in Scotland as a youngster and here in Aussie at a few of her concerts.
