Arts, crafts and such
- Needhams Restaurant in the nearby village of Witchford has recently launched a very good Art Programme featuring emerging artists form all over the United Kingdom. They've featured the local artist Craig Kerrecoe a couple of times too.
- Nice little art gallery by the river showing local artists work. Great craft market on saturdays. Three Cups Jewlery is wonderful for origional pieces. Sweet little place by the Cathedral...
- The Maltings has some Art Galleries and other Art showings every so often
- The Old Fire Engine House isn't just a very good restaurant but also an ever changing Art Gallery. It has a new exhibition every month and changes from really interesting things to dreadful things. I guess that means it's got it about right and has something for everyone at some time.
- Three Cups jewellery shop is v.cool and staffa re friendly.
Steeplegate down High Street is ok but don't knock anything over- if you do go there - have a drink upstairs - very nice but don't fall through the floor.

- The Three Cups silversmiths.
- Riverside Antiques have a good reputation. Lots of touristy kind of shops in the centre of town (near the cathedral). Steeple Gate gallery and shop has genuinely good stuff.
- Check out the Maltings for the occaisional display of crafts from local talent. Want a picture of the cathedral or an amusing hat? Look no further.
