- Does anybody know which road in Winchmore Hill Sir Roy Strong was raised in?.
- I was told that Roger Moore (Saint/Bond) once lived in Broad Walk but I cannot find any reference to this. I know Ted Ray (comedian) did as I got his autograph after approaching him outside The Fox around 1973, he was even sober at the time.
- The guy who said Cliff Richard lived in the house on the junction of PERCY ROAD and COLNE ROAD is right, he's also right about the fence. Bruce Forsyth used to own the garage in Victoria Rd N9 and went to Laymer. Emma Bunton lived on Broad Walk (where Rodney was dropped outside "his house" by Cassandra in Only Fools & Horses) think her parents might still be there, she doesn't. - Someone said Cliff Richard doesn't live in W.Hill. True. But he did. He used to live down my road - my neighbours remember loads of fans coming to his house and writing on the pavement. An amazing claim to fame.
And the ex-governer of my primary school (ST PAULS!) used to own that little toy car factory thing - it was either Dinky toys or something similar; I can't really remember. Anyway, he lives in the biggest house in Broad Walk.

Also there's multi-millionaire Dave Vignall, who owns the (nameless) company that print all those cheap diaries that I'm sure you know. He lives near Chase Side train Station. I cleaned his car for him when I was a kid. He gave me a quid. Tight bastard.
