• All in Winchmore Hill: Peking Chef is an amazing Chinese takeout, and Jonaki is a great Indian takeaway. The Trawlerman is ideal for fatty fish and chips. Chinese Whisper is a buffet restaurant - pay around £12 for all-you-can-eat on most nights, and Kevin, the waiter, totally rocks! The Punto is funky, classy, and yummy, but seems to have upped itself taking the prices with it of late, so we go there a lot less now, but is a nice evening out. Studio Pasta was always expensive - nothing's changed, but the service is excellent, and in the past we've seen Zoe from Eastenders and also Michael Portillo there too. Yes, ok, so it's not Jimi Hendrix.

• La Caverna along Chase Side is by far the best resturant in Enfield - it's friendly staff and great food makes for a quality night out.
• ocean star and tubby turk's avoid unless you want to eat your long lost cat.
• the Brewers Fayre is a new restaurant near next to Enfield Travel Inn. Great food with a wide range of dishes on offer. Nice food at resonable prices. (not a place to go out drinking though!!!)
• old orleans is alright full of Cajun crap. Though it does give you the shits.
• Pappadellis as above, Man Fu, Peking Chef, Cafe Uno kentuky fried chic are only a handful- I also reccomend an Italian called La Ruota on Lincon Rd very reasonable and tasty!!
• Peking Chef is a wicked Chinese Take Away
• South of Enfield Town is a stretch of Green Lanes in Winchmore Hill that contains a dozen or so Italian restaurants of very high quality. Try The Abetone if you like a cosy atmosphere; Punto if you prefer modern decor and exuberant cusine. The guv'nor of the latter can be a little intrusive when he's pissed, though.
• Windmill Hill is the eat-out mecca of Enfield. Three great restaurants.

• Again,too many to mention.All nationalities and very good value.
• Enzo's is a great family run restaurant with superb service and cheap food. Diners are served like royalty. Highly recommended.
• Man Fu's is the best Chinese going. Voted top North London restraunt by just about every food critic going. It is expensive, but if you want to treat yourself go for it. They will also deliver to your door.
• There's a really good Indian restaurant in Hampden Square. Average prices but excellent food.
