Cinemas in Enfield, Middlesex*

Places to go to see the latest releases

You can tell us more about Enfield.

Cinemas
  • Phoenix East Finchley best small independent cinema near here. Occasional arty films, occasional mainstream-got to pay the bills. Lovely interior.
  • CINEWORLD formerly known as UGC cinemas, catching the latest showings usually means you avoid hitting the kids, and stops them hitting you with popcorn. Always ask for student discount if you have the card, it is very pricey. bring your own drinks/food.
  • It's a travesty the ABC was knocked down to make way for a souless supermarket. That was a cinema with real character, usherettes bringing round ice creams at the interval (what happened to intervals eh?) Now you have the UGC a hang out for twelve year olds and it costs about £6 to see a film and £450 for a moderately size pic n'mix. £275 for a bottle of coke - rubbish.
  • UCG, expensive, bad ppl hang there, ( d/l off kazaaa tbhj)
  • UCG staffed by kids. An absolute shithole - bring back the football ground/
  • ugc but i wouldnt trust the crime
  • ugc !its blingin
  • ugc was good but now your just get jacked but those idiots thinking there hard but if you wna risk it. or just buy the film on pirate and watch it at home
  • UGC on Southbury Road, Enfield, is the newest cinema. It's around a fiver (which I think is quite expensive actually - thank god I'm a student), but I'd rather see a film there than anywhere else. There is a UCI at Picketts Lock, Edmonton, but I haven't been there in years because UGC is closer and more modern.
  • UCG - the BEST cinema.. al the stupid old idiots in enfield hate, who cares, we love it!!! woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  • GO TO THE ENFIELD MALL NOT EAST WINDSOR THEATRES
  • UGC - bit of a skate aswell
  • CUJO, the best band ever to come out of Enfield. If you like Greenday, Nirvana, Pixies, Blink 182 check out website: www.cujo.cc Cujo song 'Summer Song' will be played on a TV advert for PepeJeans on MTV from mid July to mid August !!!! Also Cujo with Friends ROOM69 are on the 'ROASTED' Spain tour in September sponsored by Coca Cola, Coke Music and PepeJeans and will also be shown on MTV late summer.] Next Gig: The Garage, Highbury & Islington, London, Thursday 25th July 2002, on stage 9.30, (Supporting ROOM69) for flyers contact cujoband@hotmail.com
  • good
  • Check out uci no one goes there always easy to sly in without paying
  • Good old ABC what happened to you, all those cheap films in such decent screens!!
  • You cinema bastards are responsibe for the demise of Enfield FC who used to play on the site. I hope you can live with yourselves
  • UGC is much more better than shitty UCI no fucking immigrants there either though you get the fucking pikeys from Ponders End. 15 screens shame they don't have an Amsterdam Film season.
  • they closed down our Odeon about a decade ago & made it into a Tescos. That says it all really.
  • David Lloyds is ok- if theres nuffin better to do, have Bowling with a bar, diner and big screen tv for the footie I like the look of that new cinema even though I have never been Quasar, Kingsway in Ponders End
  • Virgin cinema opening next to Kingsmead school - should be good. But UCI's good anyway
  • Quasar just open on Queens Way!
  • Sob. The quaint Thirties Odeon has been levelled by Tesco's. I had my first date there in 1983 with Charlotte Surry. Just because I'd been using the multiplex for years doesn't mean a boy can't be sentimental, does it?
  • Old cinema was a 1930s building with 1930s service and facilities. Thank God for Tesco! Roll on the new muliscreen...
  • The u.c.i is rocking for skating outside has stairs and little walls.Massive cinema all of the cool films are their.
  • David lloyds is rad bowling, and uci cinema is fuckin massive .and the outside is skateable.
  • ugh cinema is a dirty word in enfield - the last real life cinema is now a tesco supermarket to be avaoided at all costs. but we've got a 12 screen uci in edmonton and thepromise of a new multipplex on the site if the cool retro outdoor swim pool closed since time immemorial
  • Odeon(further away from the town centre)
  • The old Enfield cinema was recently knocked down and is being replaced by a Tesco's. A Crime.
  • Lea Valley UCI 12 screens etc... you know the score!
