• personally i think most of the shops in enfield town are rubbish. 98% of it is all stuf for the common chav. there aint any shops for the alternative dresser. i have to trek up to camden. there also seems to be no little private owned shops either. where has culture gone? its all high street stuff. im looking forward to this new palace exchange thing, even thou all the building work in enf town has made my cat depressed(hes on anti-depressants 4 cats! cats dnt lik it wen their habitat change!!grrrr) but seriously, more little shops are needed me thinks. i only know one shop in enfield town where the shop owner makes all the clothes she sells. and even then they cost a bomb.
• Sage, overpriced, not a lot around really. Enfield is just mobile phone shops these days.

• Clearance shop where MIllets used to be...
• Enfield Town caters for wan kers who don't know any better. Full of Burberry, Gucci and Moschino. There are no more than a handful of people who are born'n'bred Enfield and have style AND who have stayed there. Girls: The footballers wife look is shit. Boys: Go home, start again.

• Winchmore Hill has small shops like Ivory along Green Lanes which sell some nice clothes, but there are no major high street stores (the Winch isn't like that). Enfield, however, has TopShop, Next, Dorothy Perkins, Mothercare, Pearsons, Marks & Spencer, Tie Rack, Claire's Accessories, United Colours of Benneton, and so on. But nothing very skatery.
