Pubs in Enfield, Middlesex*

The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call

You can tell us more about Enfield.

Pubs
  • Real Ale pubs?-google 'CAMRA Enfield'. Dog & Duck, Orange Tree are good for middle age beeries like me!
  • Nice pubs? Enfield? Hahahahahahahaha!!!! Skanky dump!
  • The jolly farmers in Enfield- lovely food but at a price. Nice for occasions.
  • The Wonder, where the beautiful people go to plan and plot. The future is ours. The Moon Under Water, for those who can't afford the Wonder.
  • has to be the george,£2 a drink £5 bottle of vino, u cant get much cheaper, there is the moon but its full of old alcoholics and young teenager families who can only afford the 2 meals for £5
  • Standard Moon, George and the Poles.
  • Six Bells
  • ok so it werent technically a pub, just a small bar at the end of some bowling alleys-which was inside a liesure centre, but it was a laugh none the less! David Lloyds, or just lloyds as it was called was open every night but it was thursday that seemed to really pull in the crowd- though be warned if you weren't a regular, or a friend of a friend then you would definately know it when you walked in!! this place is tight knit, everyone knows everyone in a round abouts sort of way, blatent! a nice crowd though, everyone up for a laugh no one afraid to make a tit of themselves on the kareoke a really nice crowd of people. sadly lloyds bar closed down this spring of 2004! i wont say why-apart from there was absolutely nothing dodgy or underhand about it- not at all ;-) lloyds staff departed-end of an era for most- and now there is a thursday night void where kareoke nights once were! though eros is still standing and still banging out the same old tunes on monday nite, so the lloyds peeps still can catch a few familiar faces! all i can say is BRING BACK LLOYDS! XXXXXX
  • USED to b hop poles but now its all poncy
  • The Sporting Green is cool in a group. But b warned some drinkers start fights!
  • The Wonder...the regulars make even Daddy Those Men Scare me look youthful. There is a zimmer frame in the ladies bog.
  • THE GEORGE IS THE BEST! cheap drink, live atmosphere and loads and loads of buff guys!
  • the hop pole - find me and my buddys there on fridays (dont insult big glenn) o conners - find me and my band ther on thursdays..dreaming of the day we r on stage in on the green - opposite o conners, find me and my band there on saturdays..dreaming of the day we r on stage
  • W. Hill has a fab lot of pubs- The Half Moon, Salisbury Arms, Kings Head, Queens Head, Jim Thompsons (previously The Green Dragon), and for a more funky bar with sports tv and a couple of groovy shooters check out On Broadway. It's also £1.50 on Mondays for any bottled drinks. Edmonton has a few but I don't really go there much - I don't really fancy getting raped. People like the Stag and Hounds - so did I, I used to work there but the manager is on a power trip. BOYCOTT THE STAG.
  • O'connors in Palmers Green!!! Live music, loads of students and skateboarders drink there and it's just about the best local in north london!
  • Well.. drinking at the 'BEEF AND BARREL' in Ponders End... isn't too bad.. although its a University pub (drunken youngins)...too many men and not enough girls to be my friend...
  • BAR FORM - RETRO LOUNGE BAR, SERVING OVER 30 BEERS, COCKTAILS AND FOOD. LAID BACK BEATS IN COMFORTABLE SURROUNDINGS - BY ENFIELD TOWN TRAIN STATION
  • the old coachouse is full of young one nite stand material (watch out ya could get arested but i wont tell if u odnt) ;) hehe
  • The Beef and Barrel in Ponders End. Mostly full of Middlesex univeristy types. Middlesex is among the most usless and crap univeristies in the country so dont expect the cutting edge of student hipsters to be around.
  • CUJO, the best band ever to come out of Enfield. If you like Greenday, Nirvana, Pixies, Blink 182 check out website: www.cujo.cc Cujo song 'Summer Song' will be played on a TV advert for PepeJeans on MTV from mid July to mid August !!!! Also Cujo with Friends ROOM69 are on the 'ROASTED' Spain tour in September sponsored by Coca Cola, Coke Music and PepeJeans and will also be shown on MTV late summer.] Next Gig: The Garage, Highbury & Islington, London, Thursday 25th July 2002, on stage 9.30, (Supporting ROOM69) for flyers contact cujoband@hotmail.com
  • White Horse, GREEN STREET ENFIELD HIGHWAY. PUBLICLAN'S NAME.
  • Check the stag out top of the town my mate gav(thats you) goes there frequently he reckons it's not a queer pub anymore but i wondered why he's always walking with a limp"!!!!
  • Coach House is pretty popular, v packed on weekends, full of townies though.
  • The Coach House is the best pub around! Live DJ's almost every night, good atmosphere and the best bar staff around (I know - I work there!) Seriously though, we all love our jobs and that is reflected in the service! Check it out...
  • stag and Hounds is good because of Paula . ill bet she a right piece of filth. Takes it up the arse if you know what i mean. The kings head, Beehive , Moon Under Water, The George.
  • The Bush is wank. Try The Beehive near the Edmonton Lower. Friendly atmosphere. Long silences. You can get a cold pint of Tetleys.
  • The Coach House may have a bit of a young reputation but all that has changed!!! As a member of the bar staff I can say thyat we are now over 21's on a Friday and Saturday night and the doorman are pretty strict for ID (unless you're blonde with big boobs!!!) Its a TOP VENUE with live DJ's, quiz nights on Thursdays, sing along with Clive on Wednesdays and friendly staff at all times
  • The Goat in Ponders End is one kick-ass pub espically at the weekend. With some of the fittest girls in Enfield serving cheap vodka £1.50 a double. And the occasional stud bar men keeping the women happy. But prepare yourself for the weekends as Friday and Saturdays are pumping. All the best sports and Irish games with a Celtic vibe.
  • The Enfield Arms The Beef and Barrel The Halfway House- if i'm about The George The coach House is full of multi-coloured shirts, Boy Racers and Townie bods that will do something smart like accuse you of looking at them or something like that
  • Moon Under Water used to rock but its filled with the older generation now.. I hear The George and Coach House are filled with a younger crowd (though, obviously, over 18).
  • That pub by the market place???? The Kings Head!!
  • Enfield Town provides a cracking pub crawl: start @ The Old Sargeant, round the corner to the Moon Under Water, back from the road a way for the Cricketers, over the little river to the Crown and Horseshoes, along the olde worlde alleys to The Stag, over the Green to The Wheatsheaf, a hop-skip-and-lurch to the oneinthemarketsquarewhosenamecurrentlyescapesme, avoid The Coaching House like the plague, use the Green Cross Code to get to The George and The Enfield Arms, the meander in the direction of the civic centre to find the Jolly Butchers. If you can still read instructions at this point, you're a better man than me, Graham-Din.
  • twat and pussy townie and the addidas trousers
  • The Fox New Crown(Wetherspoon)
  • The Green Dragon, Winchmore Hill. Quizes, live (normally good for a laugh) entertainment and sleazy - great place to go to after work.
  • the fox in Palmers Green's Ok. On Tuesdays they have Karaoke with a mad old Indian guy- who is quite funny sometimes .
  • The Cricketers is nice. good food and nice atmorsphere. If you want large it up, The Coach House is a good place to go. The George is currently being refurbished.
