The places where you buy your music

You can tell us more about Enfield.

Record Shops
  • Rebel Music, Palmers Green appears closed. Record shop in East Barnet closed recently. Same all over. Shop in Crouch Hill, Crouch End has good slection new and used, Rock, pop, many genres. Otherwise HMV or Internet. Or spend time reading Nick Hornby's High Fidelity.
  • HMV in enfield town, great deals on, cute staff or theres always woolworths.
  • Record Detective agency in Palmers Green, used to be a small record shop in Enfield Town near the train station, they had a Michael Jackson cut-out in the window for about 10 years.
  • really is'nt any, at best you can jsut request a specific artist at HMV and wait a week for it to arrive OR Covent Gardens Slam City, dwn stairs MASS of records...
  • HMV stocks nothing of any excitement to DISCERNING ears. UDM has always been ok but there is no outlet for obscure music except the charity shops and Record Detective Agency.
  • hmv and the usual shit
  • UDM is the best record store if yor a dj, and the people are well safe that work there. you can also get free flyers to get into clubs free. its pretty good in there you can mix, dance anything you want.can be expensive for exclusive records. dont go in HMV its a rip off honestly buy online or anywhere but there
  • If there are some individual record stores or second hand music shops they must be on some back street somewhere, turn left at the traffic lights etc, because I've lived in Winchmore Hill/Enfield all my life and know it like the back of my hand. HMV all the way!
  • HMV is pretty lame for vinyl. If you're into alternative music you can pretty much forget buying vinyl in Enfield these days. UDM cater for the dance crowd, specialising in most variations of House & Garage. Neil is a really friendly and helpful guy.
  • er hmv maybe
  • ultimate dance music is now in the top 20 independent dance music record shops in the uk. established for over 6 years & Specialising in uk garage, funky house & trance/hardhouse music. UDM is also a large online record store supplying record buyers all over the world...the only shop of its kind in the area and growing bigger all the time.
  • HMV is the muthafucka of all record shops. You can get anything from Talib Kweli to DMX to NAS and big old Snoop Dogg. Plus there is a couple of nice birds i wouldn't mind sticking a couple records UP!!!
  • HMV Is the only record shop in Enfield that i'll acknowledge
  • The Record Detective at 492 green lanes n13 ( 020 8882 6278) is a great little hovel. its piled up to the ceiling with old vinyl records and film posters. send your mum & dad here, even your grandad to relive their youth/ always full of old codgers drinking free tea reminicing over old elvis, cliff and beatles lp,s
  • U.D.M. records - it's small but sells some choons and sells tickets to all the major speed garage events.
  • a and k off lncaster road
  • Record Detective Agency - Palmers Green
  • not n e cool ones ,hmv is alright
  • I buy all my korn and nirvana albums from hmv so i dont really give a shit about speaciality shops.
  • HMV,Our price
  • Our Price which is very expensiive. Also WH Smiths and Woolworths. But the biggy is HMV, who have shown support fot the area by extending there shop. It is now the best in the town.
