• It's a shame that there's no history section so old gits like me can ramble on about how they remember the Capitol Cinema (where Capitol House now stands) and the summer fetes at Halliwick House (Bush Hill), and beer was 18p a pint and why Mason's Corner is called so.....
• More townies/white trash / rude boys in enfield than anywhere else, definitly ruled by teenagers

• Great new hotel in Enfield called the Travel Inn. Very comfortable, great staff, very clean. But be informed now....if you are thinking of doing anthing illegal there it aint tolerated.
• Born and bred in Enfield, I have it on good authority that the name originated from hen's field. (This is probably untrue) And it's still full of chicken shit to this day. (this is probably true).
• Everyone complain around civic centrecause they were going to build a skate park.
• There are some nice people and places in Enfield- it would be lovely To anyone that does'nt live there

• Enfield's pretty good - granted there are a FEW People who can be classified 'Townies' there are lots of wicked people and there's plenty to do. Of course, even if you don't like whats happenin here, we got ourselves some good transport links so you can always find your way to some other place!

• About 19 skateboarders exist in Enfield.. Find us at the Civic Centre of the Town Park.. We're somewhere every evening.
• intimate theatre being closed to thepublic toilets all closed since 1.4.99 forty hall maybe closed down
• Visit enfield as a stoppover from London, but don't hang around the pubs in the early evening!
• Never, ever come here let alone move here from a nice respectable town called Shrewsbury like I did!!!!
