- feeling superior because you werent born in this dump, unlike some poor unfortunate souls.
- EVESHAM ADVENTURE PLAY GROUND IS THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD ,IF YOU'RE UNDER 18 AND THEY COOK PHEASANTS AND FISH AND ALL SORTS OF BRILLIANT STUFF. AND ITS OPEN ACCESS.
- As a market town, one of England's best kept secrets. Medium size but excellent shopping centre. Very beautiful and historic centre, especially the Abbey Park which goes from the top of the town centre down to the River Avon. At the top end of the park are two churches built next to each other, the bell tower from the old abbey, and the well stocked Almonry Museum. Views from the Simon de Montefort memorial down to the river are very nice, especially in summer. Old-fashioned band stand in park, and views over the river are lovely, particularly when the rowing club are on the river.
Car parking is available on Crown Meadow at the river's edge (south end of the park, access from close to the iron bridge) under the shade of trees lining the river bank and is one of England's best picnic spots- children have plenty of space to play in the meadow, and there is a purpose built child's play area for small children.
Evesham Regatta, and annual meeting of river boats (competition for best decorated boat run at night is great fun).
- Bow
Diesel
- The antique bloke at the back of the market who does good deals on clocks and misc furniture.
The parrots in the Angel Vaults in Port Street, but dont get too close or theyll have your hand off.

- The train station, it's my passport outta here
- Evesham Adventure Playground, where something is always happening for the 5-13 year olds. Discos on the last Friday in every month, with resident DJ Mobi' Vic.
- Lovely sunny dayz.
- Makes you feel Superior walking round
- The lovely park and the goerge and dragon
- There are some, but I can't think of them. Sorry.
- TOM'S BARBERS SHOP. Bridge Court, Bridge St., Simply the best barber shop in the Midlands. Tom is a looney, who plays blues music all day. Fabulous place to wait. Never been in ashop like it. Oh, by the way the haircut is terrific!
- Fantastic river frontage.Knocks spots of Stratford. Great on a warm summers day
- The Evesham accent is wonderful. I have grown up in Evesham but somehow I dont have a local accent.
Think of a farmers accent, now think of that farmer being a bit thick, now think of him whining while he speaks!
That is the best way to discribe a true evesham accent. The saying that are local are also pretty fab.
Local people put the word 'else' on the end of most sentances. Also you may here a young person saying 'that's
tight, that is' meaning 'thats unfair'.
Words like head may be said as Yud, or perhaps eating being called yuttin.
- The Park on a summers day.
- Port Street Market July 15th
- The Evesham River Festival. Held every year in July, this spectacular event attracts boats, cruiser and narrowboat from all over the country. The highlight of the Weekend is the "Illuminated Boat Parade" which takes place on the Saturday evening at about 9.30pm and usually includes about 30 boats (approx 1/3 of the total number) chugging up and down the River Avon for about an hour. In 1995 some 5000 people came to watch the event making it the most popular happening in Evesham's year.
- John Smith's 'Bitter' Angling Championship 24th & 25th August. Top International angling event.
- It's not Stratford-upon-Avon.
- Abbey Park and Crown Meadow. A huge expanse of open land that reaches right into the centre of town. With tree lined river walks, play areas for the kids. In the summer the river is busy with narrow boats.
- It's a great centre for touring. We are 16 miles from Cheltenham, Worcester and Stratford. Only 5 miles from Broadway; the rest of the Northern Cotswolds are in easy reach. The Malverns are within easy reach too. Birmingham is only 35 miles up the road and London is easily reached using the Cotswold Line. Junction 9 of the M5 is only 8 miles away.
- The annual town firework display - gets more ambitious every year. If only it started on time!
- The price of beer.
