• Amber mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nice and relaxing with their leather sofas. cool meeting place befor mazzas.

• If you want something a little classier that butlers, go to Amber. Nice place to have a drink and a break from shopping! And it won't break the bank!!!
• Got to be Amber. Real nice cafe that caters for all ages. Good food and plenty of good beers. Definately the place to be before Innuendoes. The same company runs both the best places in town.

• butlers or scutlers as the yoof call it. the only time i remember frequenting the place was before i attended a court matter which i won't share with you but rest assured beer was involved.

• Gateway coffee shop, is a nice, traditional tea shop and has some remarkable memorabilia (not for the 'yoofs', though). Location: Just off market square to the right of the entrance to the Riverside shopping mall (used to be called Abbey gates but is now much better [superbly] run and has gone up market). BB's in the Riverside is OK for coffee etc. but the ambience could be better....come on guys...some of the seating area is by drafty side mall entrance, rest is a bit claustrophic.
• personally, i like the good old fasioned run in2 a newsagent a buy a mars bar. But theres butlers, the local have a fag and eat chips joint for all the kids and gypsies.
