- The new Princesshay eyesore and all it's PFI misgivings.
- Debenhams
- Burnthouse Lane..Rifford Road and all of the adjoining roads..all of it!!!!!!!!!!!
- erm the Civic Centre is ugly...
- Anything post WW2
- The ugly BT building near the library.
- Anywhere selling burberry to chavs.
- most of the new buildings going up in exeter are a sad sight, lets hope the new princesshay scheme can change this trend for poor quality ugly and bland architecture which the towns planning dept. seems to love so much
- debenhams is uuugly
- That stupid statue outside the Sony shop in the high street which cost a ridiculous amount of money (£65,000)that could've been spent on more pubs/clubs and entertainment venues! Ice rink!! Bigger cinemas etc
- bosten tea party
- All the 60's moderist crap theat depresses the hell out of you and your mates as you head out of the city centre.
- The vast majority of the High Street... oh hang on, the Germans did that!
- Most of the "modern" high street.
- Tower block of college
- princesshay. aka the disgusting concrete wastleand posing as a shopping centre. though there are plans to flatten the entire thing and build a proper shopping centre! yay!! also those crappy temporary buildings opposite the main post office that got put up after the war..!
- the civic centre is really ugly with too many windows, like a big grey shoebox with holes in.
- Marks and Spencers, the university complex.
- exeter college and west exe technology college (st thomas high school).
- THe paris street bbus station is ableak and dismal place in the evening. Knock it down and rebuild in the same central position , but use the space to create more "jnside areas" for passengers.
- The whole of Princesshay, most of Sidwell Street, Renslade House, Debenhams, Dingles, Maynards. All the public toilets.
- Egg Boxes Paris St. Police stn and Courts
- Debenhams - Rip it down and start again... Bigger, Higher, Wider!!!
- The Innovation Centre
- cathedrial, it's overated
- PLYMOUTH
- HotHouse/rococos/glue factory
- hmm the uni? no, possibly some of those really ugly places down fore st
- Arena club, most other clubs cos theyre shite. And please blow the fuck out of Rileys!!!
- St. Michael's and All Saints Church, if it wasn't for the Peregrine falcons living on it.
- Debenhams
- HOTHOUSE
- The underground toilets near The Cathedral (preferably with the crazy old lady inside)
- Hmm, where to start... Exeter suffered from bad concrete post war builings, although no-where near as bad as Coventry. How about the enire guildhall centre, there's nothing worth going to in it apart from the veg stall opposite Sainsburys anyway.
- Civic Centre (did they have an architect?!)
- The Bus station, its a disgrace, right in the centre of town and all that!
- topshop/topman
- I agree about debenhams having lived in its shadow, although it is a brill place to let off the carnival fireworks.
- Renslade House, nasty office block on Exebridges roundabout , home of driving theory test ampongst other banalities, recently proudly claimed to be Fully Let
- the civic centre. the council should take more pride in its city. disgraceful.
- Most of Sidwell street now looks like some advert for fifties & sixties architecture gone wrong. Pre-fabricated, post-war concrete crap, permanently urine stained from one too many revellers heading back to campus after closing time.
- The library. Without it, everyone would get a much better view of the gorgeous Rougemont Gardens.
- Not one but all of that horrible shopping arcade behind the High Street- Blue Boys? What a sight for sore eyes!
- The shops north of the cathedral, it could be a boulevard with great vistas but instead it's one big concrete slab.
- debenhams. for being so tall
- Debenhams in the High Street. It's bloody horrible and wherever you go, you can still see it.
- Most of the shops in Fore Street!! Not all but most look soooo tatty!!
- The crappy shops opposite the main post office the sixties have a lot to answer for, of course the Germans started it.
- The Job Centre - I can't explain how disgustingly '70s it is.
- The DHSS office in Heavitree Road and the Job Centre in Queens Street both 1960's bland architechture
