Cafes and Coffee Shops
- The Cavendish sells nice cakes and tea, though to a soundtrack of 70's muzak. The Clipper, just off the high street is the best by miles, see below...Citrus has a nice terrace with sea views and nice food. Popular with students. The Gyllinvase beach cafe does good food at fair prices and is on the beach. Full of really fit students. We like...
Also the cafe on swanpool beach, 10 mins walk from Gyllinvase beach. Fabulous home made soup in winter with home baked bread roll for £2.50, lovely cakes, any sort of tea you like and "hedgehog" ice creams - local cornish ice cream rolled in clotted cream rolled in nuts and cholalate chips. Hmmm. Had one today!
- HARBOUR VIEW, CITRUS..
- Jules Bistro is one of a kind. The Girliest cafe in the West.
Jam Records does good coffee whilst you browse.
- Citrus is very nice. Quench is nice. The rest are old people cafes with cream cakes in the window.
- loads. Just walk down the main highstreet...
- Lizzies cafe do a great english breakfast when you've got a hangover.
- blue south the old spanish fly is good very nice looking there is also bodines oppisite blue which is very good
- Quench in the Moor part of town is lovely, fresh tasty sarnies and lovely fruit juices and drinks and you can browse the Net whilst in there. Apart from the library it's the only internet place in town.
- If I wasn't blind I'd say QUENCH. Bit steep for somethings but it's healthy and yum.
