- The Bird in Hand pub bands are usally rock,punk,reggae etc
- The Bird in Hand pub opposite Fareham Baptist church on the A32 Gosport Road about half a mile south of the town centre have live bands every Friday night from 9pm to 11pm and Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm.
- club v..a new venue, situted within the Fareham football club grounds.Cams Alder, Palmerston Drive. Lots of events planned for 2010!!

- if you wanna go see live music check out the joiners in scumhampton, yourr always garenteed a good gig or two...

- The Village Folk Club, at The Limes, Catisfield. Mix of bands and Singarounds.
- Apparently the "band stand" AKA that huge thing that looks like a victorian idea for a space capsule is supposed to feature a lot of local talent. So far i've seen the local but not the talent
- Ashcrofte Center, near the adult education center and the old church. Regular events, and even the odd college popular music students end-of-year thing. Suitable for a wide range of audiences with even wider ranging tastes!
