• No one else WANTS any of Farnborough.
• The Blackwater Valley Path is fantastic for a walk, run or cycle. The Basingstoke Canal is just two miles walk from North Camp, and is arguably the most picturesque canal and towpath in the UK. Well worth a walk along.

• There are no catogories to describe my feelings for The Air Show.
• Totland Close and around those areas is where most of the rudeboys/townies/pikeys live, where the worst of the drug dealings and shootings or knifings take place, if anywhere. Pikeys coming to and from Totland Estate or anywhere around there will go up Prospect Road and then up Union Street, then up Station Road or Elm Grove Road. 1 in 3 times when walking on these roads from mid-afternoon you should encounter these folk, and if you're dressed in an eccentric manner, you have a high change of being yelled at.
• Never Visit Farnborough. If you have no other choise, be sure to wipe your feet on the way out.
• There are loads of 'rude boyz' who think they are the dog's b's, who drive around in their beaten up nova's, with UK garage blarring out of their 2Watt speakers. watch out for the 12 year old pikey kids; they sometimes call them selves 'the one stop crew'....There're really dangerous!!!! (NOT) although there is nothing to do in farnborough, dont be fooled into going to the student union at farn. tech.. On a good night there will be about 10 people there (there is normally more bouncers than punters), and it just pumps out cheezy garage music by DJ wannabies.

• Worship the immense log by the logbry
• farnborough is a crap town! we need sum decant grunger shops!!!!! all the grungers cant hang out around just about anywere coz we get abuse from the townies/skaters/trendies/rudies u name it we get it SO AVOID THIS TOWN!
• The local newspaper is insane - it has an editor whose editorial pages get more lengthy and bonkers every week, and a letters page full of narrow minded rants against the metric system, the EU, immigrants, the police, etc. Bear in mind this is a free rag that gets delivered whether you want it or not. It is owned by the Guardian Media Group, who I would have thought should pay more attention to their charges in the Shires.
• hardly anything to do for teenagers, counter-strike players (online game)
• How the hell do you get a post removed? I have sent numerous requests to have my old post removed and IT IS STILL HERE !!!! I have sent this request to the two different addresses that were given to me within Knowhere, with a copy of the post and ALL possible information. Now what. The post has served it purpose and more. Now it has become a pain in the butt. PLEASE RESPOND> HELP>HELP>HELP>HELP>>.Any response tr15h64@aol.com

• VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY POOR Now I know that doesn't make sense, but ask anyone who lives here they will tell you... The only place to go in Farnborough is the Tumble Down Dick. Unless you are in the College then they have this small but cosy, SU building. (STOP PRESS THEY ARE BUILDING A BIGGER BUILDING)
  People in Farnborough are nice, and pleasant when they are not working. But go into the local Pizza Hut and have a waiter called Mark, Dave, Rob, Simon, Andy Mac (SOUNDS LIKE A BURGER) or even Keni and you'll get nothing but stress... Now I say this cos I work there and is the last of the waiters, but that's only cos we hate Farnbourogh 'TYPES'.
  But there is one good thing to say about Farnborough: THE AIR SHOW. Well at least I can stay awake all day and night without a bloody match in between my eyes...
  So all in all Farnborough runs rings round London central.
• At the moment, the most popular post-pub spot is MacDonald's at Farnborough Gate - That's if you're not going to that top club in Fleet, The Warehouse - give it a miss!
• Most of the residents of Farnborough complain about the airfield, possibly not realising that its the main employer in the area, and the only thing that makes it worth noticing. Without it Farnborough would have slipped into bankrupt obscurity many, many years ago- although the 'Meads and Farnborough Gate is fairly succesful.
• Farnborough Collage new SU bar is now open
