- "Pizza Shack" in Ferndale is the best Rhondda takeaway ever. They offer a wide range of foods from burgers to pizzas to chicken. The owner, Leighton, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and their infamous "Tikka Bites" are to die for.
- Ali's cheap and nasty and Margratelli's over priced and 3 chips as well(if your lucky)

- There is a rather nice Indian take away owned by a man called Ali, he is a rather charming fella. Please do go ther. There is also a rather nice chineese owned by a nice family, they produce mouth watering meals. There is also another chineese which produced cheap good meals (students welcome). Well the fish and chip shop, what can I say everyone likes fish and chips.
