Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
- Please could you remove the reference to Steve Crazy and his box for the elephant and replace with "visit Terry Trout - the mad mexican barman"
The Con Club Discos have now finished
- The con club is very, popular with todays youth, on a satarday night, this is were all the 18to20 year olds gather.
- Further to my last entry, the Ferndale Rugby Club tends to entertain the older element (well us over 21 years of age, if its loud music you,re after visit lurch at the Con - so called for his 5"1' stature.
- Ferndale Conservative hosts a huge set up with 14 effects lights 6 stage speakers and 4 around the wall banging out 4kw of clear sound.
- DJ LURCH at Ferndale Con takes music to the extreme, pumping out 4KW thru 10 speakers. The guys nuts - laptop linked to the net promises any request ( with the exception of Vera Lynne/Perry Commo, decks & Kam mixerS - MATRIX AMPS AND 14 SE LIGHTS to match. he was spotted over Xmas with a 12" beach caster flinging Mistleto into the crowd. Watch this space. Tends to talk too much after a few ciders, but tells some funny Jokes in the middle of tracks such as resurrection, sandstorm and (21/11/00) Nalin & Kane's beach ball - well worth a visit for only £1.00 open to non-members - the beers cheap @ 1.25 for cider.
Always a warm welcome from the aptley named Steve Crazy (Steward plumber builder welder - If youve got an Elephant, he's got the box to fit it in in. The Anchor is also well worth a visit but fill your Wallet. Long lock ins are provided at the Rhondda Hotel. Ps the anchor has accomodation.
- We have our famous Ferndale Rugby Football Clud, The Band Club and the Imperial Club. All are a great night out in my eyes. They serve cheap tasteless beer in a smoke filled atmosphere and a pub singer with a throat infection. There is nothing more you could want in life.
