Pubs
- The Anchor in Ferndale I lived there 3 years ago when the landlord was H any body who really knows this man and his family will know that it was and still is the best pub in ferndale he is a legend in his own lifetime
- The anchor hotel has become one of the best pubs in Ferndale, artists on a thurs and fri, and good ole karaoke on a sat, great stuff if your up for a larff. The artists did go through a crap patch but since the Lee 'the mullet' Pike left!!
- LLanwonno pub does a wonderful range of meats and veg, all served at centre of table with a lovely lady who asks if you want more. Beef is like a 2 steaks, pork like a leg and the chicken.....well..cluck cluck. Beers on offer range from your standard largers to flowers orig and the Reverend James ABV 4.5)(. A wide variety of filled rolls.
What seems to spoil the place are the number of motorcross, trials bikers tearing past for no cause but to see how many holes exist in their exhaust pipes. My great gran's burried there!
- The Anchor Hotel, is probley one of the best local pubs in the Rhondda, it is fast becoming one of the busiest pubs in the area, with friendly,and lively bar staff. It also has a restarant that serves fantastic meals at very affordable prices
- DO A CRAWL - START AT THE CON - CHEAP BEER, WHEN YOU ARE TALKING BOLLOCKS - HEAD FOR THE ANCHOR OR RHONDDA HOTEL. FINISH UP AT THE CON FOR LIGHT ENTERTAINMENT DOWNSTAIRS OR GIVE DJ LURCH (ALL OF 5'4") A RUN FOR HIS REQUESTS UPSTAIRS.MAKE IT SOON TALK IN THE TOWN HES GOIN G ON TO BIGGER THINGS - EVEN BIGGER THAN HIS MISSES
- There are many pubs in Ferndale the night life is alive. There is one classy place which is booming on a thursday due to the life entertainment. This is the Ferndale Hotel ( The New Pub). It has good artists unlike the other local pubs. Ti also serves nicer alcohol for some strange reason. The others tend to have older people in them this is a younger persons pub. However the others do have therir good points they are known for the people they attract!!!!!
