Passages of Life in Ferndale & District
is a collection of data and photographs
published in two volumes on the area
from the early 1800’s up to and beyond
the 1960’s.
This fascinating account of life during these periods includes farming, mining, religion,
education, transport, employment, housing, people, sport, World War 1 & 2 and many
more features, which incorporates hundreds of detailed photographs for readers to
enjoy. This collective work has taken almost twenty years of research and has finally
come to fruition in two compact volumes, which can be obtained from the address and
contact numbers below.
- As of June 2003, Ferndale still doesn't have broadband internet access. There is a campaign running called "Broadband for Ferndale" that aims to encourage residents of Ferndale to register their interest for Broadband with BT. If we get 400 names (currently we have 158) BT will upgrade the local telephone exchange, this will enable Ferndale to enjoy Broadband Internet. For more information please visit www.broadbandferndale.co.uk

Well we can't have everything. We do however have a wounderful football and rugby ground. This can be used to sun bath, walk the dog and play games too. Ferndale is such a wounderful place to live please move here (so I can get out).
