• There is a very advanced skate board park on the George 5 playing fields, it can easily be accessed from Cherry Grove and parkign is free at the sports centre.

I KNOW MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE SKATED THER AND BEEN CAUGHT. ALSO THE BOWL IS FILLED IN SO IT IS UNSKATEBALE AND CHAVS SMASH BOTTLES AND THROW THEM IN. - -- --- ---- --- -- - CAUTION
• sainsburys has 3 lush slidy gridy benches and a long 6 set... take a brush if your gunna skate the stair set. the industrial est has a secret spot... your gunna hav to find it its full of lush crates that can be used to make kickers to kickers and soo on with a lorry gap... the only clue im giving is its a big drop to get there and it smells like coffee... if you find it... if the security gard comes tell him you aked the reception during the week if you could skate and they said yes...ohhh and this is is only a sunday skate... and the long summer nights. teso petrol station has a ledge wich is cool to do manuals on... but u wont be able to skate it for long.... oh and the skate park it shit... you wanna come to the next lil town across called westmoors... the parks lush... 4ft mini will be included soon after party in the park
• Haskins carpark (after 6), fitzpain rd has a few skaters on it were normally out and about there somewhere.
• in the idustrial estate take a left at the traffic lights and follow the road round. you will come to an abandond where house full of ghetto ramps.
• the new housing estate behind the "angel pub" has got smooth roads high curbs and the odd speed hump. waxed curb towards back of estate somewhere. the ferndown upper school. go over the big green gate theres a 9,6 and big 3 sets, lots of benches and walls for wallie lines. sundays only janitor works saturday
• skate park near upper school and sport centre. Normaly see teenagers 'bunking' up there. Teachers do find you tho! SHAME!!
• The reference to the large banked drainage pool behind Schlumberger on the industrial estate shouud be removed from your guide with immediate effect. The Security Guards are aware of the existance of this guide and have been instructed to call the Police in the event that tresspassers are noted in the facility grounds. The drainage tank is a critical amenity for the Schlumberger building and is NOT to be used for recreation of any kind. Notices have been positioned around the facility to advise potential 'fun-seekers' NOT TO TRESSPASS. You have been warned so please remove this reference to avoid prosecution of your readers.
• New skateboard park for 2000 - has all the basic stuff (ramps, grinds etc). Located between the park and the Upper School. Strangely enough the old Mayor went on a crusade to get this.
• Freestanding waxed curb in Tesco's car park and other waxed curbs. It may not sound exciting but it's under cover so good when raining. It used to be real busy back in the day now it seems there's no one left. There are a number of reasonable curb/step/traffic islands on the industrial estate. A bit hush hush this one but what the hell. There is a large banked drainage pool behind Schlumberger on the industrial estate which can be fun. Obviously only really any good in the summer as the rest of the year it is full of water. Approach from the back as there are security guards.
• Tescos? Street Fly-offs. Smooth tarmac car-park. 15' freestanding curb. Sundays are best
