I am trying to track down the Cooke family who lived in Ferndown prior to emigrating to Australia. John Cooke [born about 1940/41] joined the Merchant Navy, as an officer I think, and was in Singapore in early 1960. His Mum and Dad ran a rest home or nursing home in Ferndown up till about 10 years ago when they too went to live in Australia. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
