- Purity Pink, known as the pink man of fleet. He looks a bit like Jesus only he wears a pink tutu.
- Raquel Cassidy of the hit UK TV series "Teachers" is apparently from Fleet.
- At the turn of the last century, the Pankhursts ran a lot of Suffragette meetings out of a house on Victoria Road.
- Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden guitarist) has his son resident in Fleet nowerdays.
- Justin Rose - Young Golf Player
Jet from Gladiators - Apparently lives in church crookham
Hans Segars - Ex Wimbledon Goal keeper, used to live in ancells farm
- The local rumour is that Stephen King did some of his book writing at a spooky-looking house in Connaught Road (not Albert Street).
Mike Batt (of Wombles fame)lives nearby.
Ace blues harp player Paul Swinton lives in Fleet.
- Well that great Noel Edmonds once flew in by helicopter to Court Moor school to Gunge the Head Master Mr Shorey .)
- Steven King rented a house in Albert Street to write a couple of his books apparently. They were real horror stories of souless, sprawling towns full of commuters.
- Feargal Sharkey used to live down (or near) Queens Road for a while back in the mid-1980's!!
- England Rugby team stayed at the town centre hotel. Rev Awdry (Thomas the Tank Engine author) lived nearby. Arthur English (from Are you being served ?). Keith Chegwin once turned up absolutely ratted at Fleet Carnival and lost a tooth in a scrap with someone I went to school with.
