Hookup Spots in Forest Hill, Greater London*

Inside Information and Stuff Only Locals Know

You can tell us more about Forest Hill.

Hookup Spots
  • We tend to hangout under Forest Hill train station, they have CCTV under the bridge which is pretty safe and the steps and railings gives us good practice when the weather is crap.
  • We tend to hangout under Forest Hill train station, they have CCTV under the bridge which is pretty safe and the steps and railings gives us good practice when the weather is crap.
  • Us teens from Forest Hill Boys and Sydenham Girls tend to hang out by WHSmiths after school for a fag and a snog.
  • Update: Forest Hill has seen the rise (and fall) of smarter places to go out. Foret des Amis is now an Indian restaurant and The Capitol still suffers from being a bit soulless with an unattractive clientele. Much smarter places are Question bar (formerly the Malt Shovel)and The Dartmouth Arms which has had a facelift and is trying to be much more of a brasserie than a boozer. Both are in Dartmouth Road
  • At the Latitude Sunday 30th January 2005 - Big fund raising concert for the children who survived the Tsunami. 13 local and internationally acclaimed acts on stage from 1-8pm. Works of art sold by auction. Surprised guests throughout the afternoon. Come have a great time and help the children! All info at www.ryez.co.uk/tsunami.html See U there!
  • The Forest Hill Hotel. Rough as if you are not a local. You will often here the scream of slice him or stranger, don't let him out alive if take your pick is happening.
  • Me and me mates go to the top of London road, and skate down.
  • Every tuesday at the Forest Hill Hotel in Standstead road live jam session, bring your instrument Pa and drum kit supplied Good relaxed company, mostly musicians, entrance is free normal bar prices 9 til close. send for info to zeodeo@yahoo.com
  • The only two places you'd potentially take a woman for a drink: Foret des Amis which is rather let down by its location hidden away behind the train station in Perry Vale, otherwise the Capitol a wetherspoons pub in an old cinema which is at least large enough to get away from the loonies and does decent wines. Talking of loonies, if you're courageous enough to walk through the tired, emotional and occasionally 'fragrant' clientele in the lower front bar, the back bar of the Bird in Hand in Dartmouth Road has a younger crowd. The all important dividing line being the steps betyween the 2 bars
  • The Horniman Gardens for lush vegetation and excellent view from Canary Wharf in the East to Battersea Power Station in the West. You can see the London Eye and I guess they can see you...
  • There are no shops in Forest Hill............... or restaurants for that matter.......... Let's hope Wetherspoons acquire the old bingo hall and some decent shops open on the parade.
