- Well hang on a minute, whats all this about people who think their scousers just because they live in Formby?...I was born and bred in Formby and tried all my life to live down the scouser image of nicking hub caps etc. I have never really thought of myself as a scouser and quite frankly when i now go home to visit family im quite ashamed. The place is now full of scousers all pretending that the're not really from Liverpool. It was a smallish village, well mannered, yes slightly old fashioned, but guess what, i liked it that way. I m only in my forties so im not so old to be romantic about the place..So before you slag off Formby remember the Formbyits were there before the Scousers decided to become posh and move there.
- The Railway pub is now an "Ember Inn" under new management. More of a foody pub now, but still gets a good cross section ot types
- Formby is boring, and everyone who is twenty below wants to leave. Is you're above that age, you'll like it, especially OAP's.
- All the old farts in Formby are soooo proud of it, but its a load of shiite, theres nothing to do if you're under 45 'cept get stoned!!!!
- All those Bullys in FHS who thought they were better than you.....guess what
your NOT!!!(HAHAHA!!!)
- Safeway have small trollies for children to push round and pick up food for there parents. Rather like little SLAVES who are having fun!
Also the squirrel place when nastly little critters come and eat your nuts!
