  • The Vintage Dove in Elm Court has just started offering craft workshops and a weekly crafty social event on Wednesday mornings.
  • The largest arts and hobbies shop is HobbyCraft based 10 miles away in Maidstone.
  • Dont be so stoopid! there aint nuffin trendy here!

  • There used to be a great little craft shop under the arches by Chatham Fire station, but it's gone now. I think she does the local markets now
  • Nearest place Rochester. Gill's aint cutured like that, innit.

  • The stoeage village down at the riverside park is pretty good and they have a lot of meetings shows etc. not really much call for arty crafty things in Gillingham. If they cant drink it, smoke it shag it they dont seem to be really interested.
  • Theres a wall in gillingham high street where everyone writes the name but it has to be good as it's the best graffitti wall around here
  • There's a little shop in Balmoral road, near the train station.
  • Bugger all in Gillingham. Most of the residents are pikeys and spend their money on Gold. Rochester's the place to go if you're after something artstic.
  • TRY ROCHESTER HIGH STREET AS IT IS FULL OF IT!
  • The Pound Shop? Plenty of street art outside kebab shops of a friday night.
  • there is the Space Frame Gallery, Green Street
  • There is absolutely nothing trendy or arty about Gillingham
