- Remembering the good old days when Gilmorton was a village and not just a commuter colony (as it seems to be now).

- It is surrounded by fields, small villages and Lutterworth so you can wander off and get lost for hours - and end up near Rugby.
- Village Cricket has to be the most exciting summer activity - though rain often stops play.
