• The red frame thing was going to be a factory (and therefore named the factories). I was told they stopped when they realised that area of ground would subside!!! Good place to ride bikes about.. and generally arse about providing you don't mind broken glass and dog shit.
• The Rec - expanse of grass by the river (over the 'Chinese' Bridge)usually dotted with people getting high
• Devana Park playground - drugs, wannabe gangbustas and vandalism a heady mix to grow up on
• School hill - back to front baseball caps advised.
• all the sad no hoping teenagers hang around the causeway and drink and act really hard
• My mates and I hang around Peate Close on the hill and down by the gypsy lot where that old red framework is-what was that meant to be anyway? The Pond over the bridge is a great place to hang out at. If you follow the path all the way to the end of the docks past that fancy house, you'll end up in a huge wheat field which is great for playing "hide and go get it"
• The causeway by the river, or the rec, under age drinkers hang about unwins and the mill car-park
