• The Oak - complete dump (was popular about 20 years ago) (plus point the only pool table in town) Black Bull - Ok if you like real ale and beams. Not much happening in there The Exhibition - Are you a restaurant or a pub....make your mind up. Could be a good pub and is the pick of bad bunch White Hart - Dull.....couple of nice barmaids though. Never been the same since Mugsy stopped working there
• AVOID THE ROYAL OAK, Also balck bull closed for over a month immediately following a seance, may re-open eventually,
• Exhibition, White Hart (major revamp in 2001) & Black Bull are all food-serving pubs (usually with some decent real ales on). Royal Oak is for the very young, very old and anyone itching for a fight ( not families).
• Royal Oak is cheapest beer in Godmanchester but the Black Bull, Exhibition and White Hart are nicer pubs (and do excellent food too).
• Well if your under 18 why don't you try the royal oak for some cheap booze. I'm sure if you/girlfriend wheres there skimpiest top i'm sure they'll get served
• Exhibition! Definately-it's a nice place to take your family-the children can have a packet of crisps and some ribena and you and you can have a lager.
• Black Bull - most popular, food not as good as it was, reasonable range of beers good family pub Exhibition - seriously improved, now giving the Black Bull some competition, good food and wine bar wine, beer the usual suspects Royal Oak - seedy dive, the locals local - don't stare at anyone, you have been warned White Heart - seedy dive
