- Good craft and art shop down Stoke road near The White Hart.
- The whole town is stuck in a 1950s time warp. Trendy? No chance. Twee? Can't move for it.
- Gosport Museum is absolutely brilliant. A great local museum with local history and geological stuff, friendly staff, especially the lovely Karen
