Cheap Food
- Broadway Chippy Palmyra Road, definitely one of the best in the town
- And again Karens Internet Cafe although Jalalabad it a great india restaurant
- Burger King, MacDonald's for unethical carnivores. Village Fish Bar in Alverstoke for good fish and chips. Pebble Beach on Stokes Bay for nice views. Loads of Chinese/Indians etc. on Stoke Road, New Bengal being our favourite. Gosport Best Kebab is...well, the best.
- The Great Wall at Gosport ferry is good chinese restaurant. The Gormet House, noe New Wok down Stoke Road is a good chinese take-away. Good indian opposite this shop.Gosports best kebabs down Stoke Road is quite amusing.
- Kebab shops everywhere, ditto burger bars. Couple of greasy spoons along Marine Parade in Lee-on-Solent. Some really good curry houses along Stoke Road: New Bengal (friendly staff, nice food) Jalalabad (really good curries, decent staff) Prince of India (good curry, bit cheaper than the other two I think. Can't remember as I'm writing this with a stinking hangover)
- GIs and Gosport Best Kebab on Stoke Road
- Whetherspoons on the high streets to a mean curry night on Thursdays!!!!
- Stoke Road has a couple of kebab shops. Warning - stagger quickly, they'll be shut by 2.30am!
- Is it to be GI burgers or Gosport Best Kebab? You could start a fight in either.
- Sarnies With Attitude, Bedminster lane... Bring an extra stomach!!
